A gentle introduction to the joy of gravel grinders with a few stops to relax, rejuvenate and rest at.

The ride starts and finishes at 10am in Oxford and we will travel to the Waimakariri River and back.

This is a great introduction to gravel riding, it is a rolling 52ks, one proper climb with a bunch of gravel sections, a bit of highway and a number of quiet rural roads.

Elevation – 351m

(1) – 1.5km, +82m, 5.3%.
Surface (approx.):
Paved – 19.5 km – 40%
Unpaved – 34.9 km – 60%

 
This will be a semi-supported, no drop, guided ride with a café stop at the beginning and end. We have an awesome picnic lunch spot, but you have to bring it along with you!
 
Perfect for the person who hasn’t ridden on gravel before and wants to in a no pressure group. Or just a social play with friends new and old. It’s not a race!

This is a great introduction to gravel riding, it is mostly flat 65ks with a bunch of gravel sections, a bit of highway and a number of quiet rural roads.

Surface (approx.):
Paved – 53%
Unpaved – 47%

This will be a semi-supported, no drop, guided ride with a café stop at the beginning and end. We have an awesome picnic lunch spot, but you have to bring it along with you!

We start at 11am in Christchurch.

This is a great introduction to gravel riding, it is flat 49ks with a bunch of singletrack sections, gravel, grass, mud, sand, a bit of highway and a number of quiet roads.

You will need to purchase your own beverages and food.

Distance – 49.5km
Elevation – 215m
Surface (approx.):
Paved – 65%
Unpaved – 35%

This will be a semi-supported, no drop, guided ride with three beverage stops and a café/bar at the start and at the finish.

Designed to be a step up from our popular intro Gravel rides – Grins & Gravel and Baby Roubaix, this is 126kms with no significant climbing but plenty of fun, views and photo stops. This is on a mixture of gravel and sealed roads.
