Baby Roubaix <15/02/2025>

A gentle introduction to the joy of gravel grinders with four cafe/bars to relax, rejuvenate and rest at.

We start at 10am in Motukarara.

This is a great introduction to gravel riding, it is mostly flat 61ks with 14 gravel sections, there are a couple of easy climbs, a bit of highway and a number of quiet rural roads.

Distance – 61.1km
Elevation – 266m
Surface (approx):
Paved –  51%
Unpaved – 49%

This will be a semi-supported, no drop, guided ride with plenty of cafe stops.

Perfect for the person who hasn’t ridden on gravel before and wants to in a no pressure group. Or just a social play with friends new and old. It’s not a race!

Heartland Tour – Wild West Coast <14/04/2024>

We are off to the Wild West Coast of the South Island!

14-24 April 2024

This would suit experienced cyclists, happy to ride all day for several days. There will be a wide variation of terrain so a Hardtail Mountain Bike or Gravel Bike with grippy tyres and a wide range of gears would be best.

But it’s not just about the cycling, we will bombard your senses and tastes with historical and cultural visits as well as sampling the best of what the region has to offer.
